The morning hours (8-11am) are best for shoots with small children, as they might be too tired/hungry later in the day. For older children and adults sessions are best booked in the afternoon and twilight hours, as the light will be better then.
As long as it is not T3, T8 or a big rain storm in town, we should be good to shoot - but of course, if in doubt, contact me and we can discuss next steps.
The easiest and the hardest question - something that you feel comfortable and pretty in. White or blue or black are nice colours but try not to wear stripes or any wild patterns. Best to keep it simple.
It is great if you can bring along some of your child's favourite toys, games, balls, kites, bubbles – anything that you enjoy doing together as a family. Snacks are also a good idea to boost your child's energy levels.
Yes, I will spend some time taking some relaxed portraits of you together as a family, as this can be an important record for you too. But I spend more time letting the action happen naturally and capturing the moments as they unfold.
I will edit the images lightly within 14 days. They will then be uploaded to the secure online gallery, for you to view and download as high resolution images (in JPG files).
I do not want to choose the highlight pictures for you and neither should you have to select your favourite images. My style of photography results in a collection of images that capture your family. Therefore, the session fee includes all the high resolution digital files from your gallery to keep for life. You can print them and use them as you see fit.
50% is due upon booking to reserve your date and the remainder is due on the day of the session. You can pay via bank transfer, cheque or in cash please.
Let's get in touch, discuss what you have in mind and then I will send you a contract, so we can capture all the details about the photo shoot.
I am very excited to discuss the next steps with you.
